While at LPHS, what did you teach, and when :
I taught science from 1952 until 1958, was Class Sponsor for the Class of 1956,
and also LPHS’ first Director of Student Activities.
What are some of your fondest memories of La Puente high School :
Graduation night in the old gym; the “Daisy Chain”; the Faculty skit in the
Girl’s League Vodvil; the Future Farmer’s of America school Fair; and most
of all the wonderful students, and their families that I was privileged to
teach !
Comment on your entire career, at LPHS, and elsewhere :
From 1958 until 1970, I was an Asst. Principal and Principal at Los Altos
High in Hacienda Heights. I served as an Asst. Supt., and Deputy Supt. of
schools for the Hacienda La Puente Unified School District from 1970 until
my retirement in 1986..
Where do you now live :
I have lived in the Covina - West Covina area since 1956..
